Patrons
To oversee the vision of the Denis Hurley Centre Trust and to help it develop, a board of patrons has been assembled which also reflect the wide range of interests of Archbishop Hurley; Catholic, ecumenical, interfaith, the judiciary, arts, academia. The Patrons do not form a decision-making structure for the Denis Hurley Centre but instead provide input, insights and contacts, formally and informally.
Click here for a list of Patrons as at September 2015.
Management
Advisory groups
The individual projects, in turn, are assisted in their work by Advisory Groups which bring together different stakeholders to offer advice related to the work of the project (healthcare, welfare, employment, refugees, fundraising).
If you have expertise in any of these areas and would like to contribute to one of the Advisory Groups please contact the Director on
raymond@denisurleycentre.org.
Note that the Refugee Pastoral Care programme, while a partner of the Denis Hurley Centre, is a Commission of the Archdiocese of Durban under Fr Peter Lafferty, reporting through those structures to the Cardinal.
